Tara Haislip is a certified Nutrition & Wellness Coach with her own business TENHealth & Wellness. Tara obtained her certification from the American Fitness Professionals & Associates in April of 2017. Her goal is to teach you how to take control of your health with diet, exercise and mindful well-being through group and private coaching sessions.
Before Tara became a Nutrition & Wellness Coach, she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree as a Modern Dance Performance Major from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia in 2008. Tara's first career as a dancer spanned 18 years from training to professional career. Her career included working with artists with the Pennsylvania Ballet/The Rock School, Philadanceo, Koresh, Junk, the Martha Graham Dance Company, the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (Liverpool, England), and many others. Tara was even accepted into the Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance summer program in London, England before she decided to change careers.
Upon leaving her dance career at the age of 21, she obtained her certification in Paralegal Studies from Peirce College in 2010 and was inducted into her colleges National Honor Society in Paralegal /Legal Assistant Studies, Lambda Epsilon Chi. Her career as a Paralegal started as a student clerk for the United States Attorney's Office. She later specialized in Trust & Estate Administration and worked as a Trust & Estate Administration Paralegal helping Trustees and Executors work through the legal process of administering their loved ones estates.
While Tara worked her career as a Paralegal she also worked on repairing her physical and emotional health from the many years of dance. This is where Tara found her true passion to help people live healthier lives through alternative practices. She wants to study meditation therapy in the immediate future. She eventually wants to study Ayurveda health and bring an Ayurvedic Health Practice to the area.
